Assessment of the Agronomic Value of Manure-Based Fertilizers

Producing manure-based fertilizers (MBFs) with specific nutrient ratios is a solution to overpassing the imbalance of nitrogen and phosphorus in manures, way recycle manure’s nutrients, promoting sustainable agricultural practices. Several MBFs different tailored N:P (0.5:1, 1:1 2:1) were produced determine their agronomic value pot experiment oat (0.5:1 ratio: cattle manure pig slurry (CaM+PiS), poultry (CaM+PoM) superphosphate (PoM+SP); (PoM+CaS) (PoM+PiS); 2:1 liquid fraction (CaS+CaS-LIQ), (PiS+PiS-LIQ) urea (PoM+U)). The performance these was compared conventional mineral (MFs) sandy soils (Haplic Arenosols) requirements. Oat fertilized PoM+SP (0.5:1) PoM+PiS (1:1) led yields similar those obtained use MFs (6.3 7.2 mg DM, respectively). PoM+PiS, as well PiS+PiS-LIQ (2:1), agronomically equivalent MFs.
